Nigel Peake is an Irish architect who travels the world, creating beautiful hand drawn observations of the world around him. He grew up in county Kildare, in a place he fondly refers to as 'the middle of nowhere.' His subject of choice tends to be the everyday objects and scenes that surround us. He draws a lot of inspiration from both architecture and nature as they hold all these moments that occur every day.
Always making sure to set aside time to 'sit and look' is important for him, seeing this not as a form of procrastination, but as a way of observing what is around him. He is the author of three books and has had work commissioned by various clients such as Hermés, Habitat, Dwell and The Royal Horticultural Society.
