Makers & Brothers

A Seasonal Feast

We hosted a small feast at Makers & Brothers this week. The table was laden with seasonal treats, wonderfully elegant cut crystal entwined in ivy and filled with fine champagne. It was a winter’s feast, a gathering to celebrate J. Hill’s Standard and Veuve Clicquot. The fires were lighting and the rain did not stop pouring as old and new friends arrived for festive feasting and winter cheer.

The food was prepared by Eunice Power and was an assemblage of delightfully local seasonal ingredients.

Menu

Salt Baked Celeriac
Steamed leeks and almonds
Beetroot and carrots glazed with marmalade

A big thank you to all who helped us bring the evening together. In particular Veuve Clicquot for their spectacular champagne introduced by their ambassador Julie Dupouy. Thank you to J. Hill’s Standard who went out of their way to ensure the tables were laden with fine Irish cut crystal. Another super thank you to Eunice Power and her team for such magnificent food.
