FJURA | Alocasia Leaf
This month’s arrangement from Fjura’s Simone Gooch is striking yet simple, a generously proportioned leaf that fully earns its nickname ‘Elephant’s Ear’.
Purity of colour is the overwhelming characteristic of this arrangement, delicate shades of green that overlap, washing over and surrounding one another.
We love how the arrangement complements the form of the vase, whose smooth lines both support and provide a contrast the variegated visual texture of the leaf.
A simple arrangement, but one which we feel speaks for itself.
"Glory be to God for dappled things— For skies of couple-colour as a brinded cow, For rose-moles all in stipple upon trout that swim; Fresh-firecoal chestnut-falls; finches’ wings"
