A clever creation by artist Will Cruickshank - the Kissing Whistle is a double-ended musical pipe for two. Hand carved from a small branch of applewood, each piece maintains the natural shape of the branch from which it was made. No two whistles sound or look the same. Used separately, the ends play a unique and distinct note. When played together, the whistle plays a unique, playful dissonant chord.
Will Cruickshank is a master of odd and useful objects - familiar items with a novel twist. Each whistle is hollowed and crafted by the artist in his London-based studio and is formed by hand and nature to create a unique musical instrument.
