We have been talking with Claire Anne O'Brien for a while now about developing a special small collection of knitted animals, cute, cosy, odd beasts with Irish origins. Today we went to her studio to see how things had progressed as the first batch is due in our Shed next weekend.

They are looking pretty great. All knitted with Donegal wool and stuffed with raw sheep’s wool. The characters are based on the friendly Irish animals you might find in the wild mountains of Connemara. There will be three animals available at first; a Hare called Liam, a Fox called Fin and a Sheep called Clodagh. It is all very exciting and we are looking forward to their arrival in the shed. They will be available here from next Saturday.
