The gardens at Great Dixter is a place we really need to return to. A magical garden that offers a totally immersive experience. They began as the passion project of the late imperial wizard of English horticulture, Christopher Lloyd. Located in England’s East Sussex countryside, the semi-formal grounds are an exercise in planned imperfection. Imaginative yew hedges and Yorkstone paving provide the framework for the seasonally changing tapestry of vibrant colours, bold form and spirited texture. It is a garden in constant flux and the planting schemes are very different each year. A very special and spirited place.
