A large, shallow serving bowl. Whorls, eddies and stripes in deep blues and black put a contemporary spin on traditional creamware. Part of a range of fine earthenware by Faye Toogood for 1882 Ltd.
Faye Toogood designs furniture and objects, and experiments with materials and processes in her work. The charcoal pattern is created when the pigment added to the slip coating does not fully blend. Each piece is hand glazed so each item is unique and possess different chance patterns.
